Personality:
Has a very cool exterior that does not like a lot of nonsense. Straight to the point, may come off as severe and harsh. Cares in his own way. Difficult to win the trust of, difficult to befriend. Has a great amount of patience, and can play nicely if you don%u2019t annoy him. He does have a soft spot for sports cars and his cool exterior might wear off when he sees a race on TV or is in the presence of a car model that he likes. He doesn%u2019t like to show it, but he does worry of his master and will give in for her if she needs anything; he%u2019s not very gentlemanly towards others. He will not catch anyone but Yuudai.

Family Background / History:
The son of the a member of the Shateigashira-hosa. His father is highly respected for being a close bodyguard of the Shateigashira, third man in charge of the Yakuza. From childhood to now, he was trained to be a bodyguard for the syndicate. Akira%u2019s expectation was high, in that he had to either succeed his father or take his place. His father, a rigid and strict man, trained Akira with an iron fist in different kinds of martial arts. Akira had no other choice, really - it was his father%u2019s way, or he%u2019d be disowned from the syndicate. This particular part of the syndicate was involved in gambling on drag racing and importing/exporting cars illegally. Although training to be a bodyguard, Akira often enjoys watching drag racing, as long as the race does not cost the life of either party that is racing. By the time Akira reached 17, he was able to partake in the drag racing, but refused to be bet on for the reputation of his father -- and by then, he was a top-notch bodyguard for his age. He was not promoted to the Shateigashira-hosa, however -- unless he took the task of protecting the daughter of the head of the Shateigashira. Her name was Yuudai - and she was a loud, rambunctious young woman that enjoys a good fight. Akira was displeased with meeting her - she wasn%u2019t exactly the type of girl who needed her own bodyguard since she seemed to be able to fend for herself (especially in terms of her big mouth), but he took the job anyway. He was promised a promotion into the Shateigashira-hosa as soon as his job was finished, so he looks to that for inspiration. Otherwise, he is almost indifferent to his master. He had not known her long before they were both sent to school together and finds her presence to be more of a nuisance, though he has a strange fondness for how opposite she may be. The partnership is strictly of business and he follows through to it in every aspect.
